after a hectic couple of weeks pushing 18 hour days for work, i finally get the time to sit and absorb some MTV.

then there's the killers' new video - bones. am thoroughly disappointed with this video - but i'll post it here anyway coz it's so bad.

crap - pure crap. how do you make a video with a hottie like devon aoki and screw it up this bad, i'm not even sure if it's kitsch or ironic. are the killers gonna be cursed with bad videos like coldplay?

i've yet to get my head around the past couple of weeks - its flurry, darkness and haste - but somehow this blog must move on.

nyx's series of posts on liondance trivia -read them and astound your drunk friends and bickering relatives with newly reaped knowledge on the subject.

really enjoyed her posts since i've been fascinated by lion dances since i was a kid. my godparents even bought me my own mini-lion dance kit. wonder where it is...

three seasons and 14 episodes later - it hits me - Entourage - is really the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles repackaged for the exact same target audience - ppl born circa 1980-85's.

you've got the leader, the goof, the wise/experienced one, the beta male and you've also got the toys and dream jobs.

(then again, you can also say that TMNT was written based on other famous foursomes - maybe the musketeers (albeit very loosely connected)?) - maybe the blend of quad personalities is textbook stuff for screen writers?

anyway. do you want to write a hit tv series in 2015? base it on the pokemon series - just place it in a different set, different toys but similar character dynamics. (do pokemon characters have personalities? i've never seen a single episode - wtf). the kids who grew up on pokemon will subliminally identify and worship it.

too much talent for one dood.
